Buck Farmer pitched well for a while
First off, this is one of the weirdest Tigers seasons, with the selling off of key players and the dismissal of General Manager Dave Dombroswski in mid-season.
Then there's the injuries, the lousy pitching, and the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde offense.
That being said, the Monday night game seemed pretty typical for this team, which was up 5-0 early on in the game, and then blew the lead against the Cincinnati Reds by giving up 10 runs in the 6th inning at an away game at the Great American Ball Park.
Tigers pitcher Buck Farmer, who was pitching well, started fizzling out in the sixth, and gave up three runs. Then relievers Al Alburquerque, Tom Gorzelanny and Neftali Feliz came in and threw gasoline on the fire. It wasn't pretty.
Cinci scored twice more before the game was over, breaking its nine-game losing streak.
The key for fans: Have very low expectations the remainder of the season and enjoy the games.

They're the Cardiac Cats. No lead is safe with this team. You could be up 99-1 and you're still at risk of losing the game.
