Jason Dalton, the Uber driver charged in six weekend murders in Kalamazoo County and the wounding of two other people, has confessed to the shootings, Fox 17 reports.
County Prosecutor Jeff Getting says Dalton waived his right against self-incrimination and admitted to “his involvement in these incidents,” the station says.
“The Kalamazoo community is reeling from these senseless acts of violence that took so many innocent lives from us, and our hearts are saddened for all of the victims, their families and friends who are dealing with this on a much more personal level,” Getting said in a statement.
Dalton, 45, was arraigned Monday afternoon in district court and was denied bond.
