The University of Toledo (Ohio) will begin offering courses at Schoolcraft College in Livonia next year. Students can complete full four-year Toledo degree programs at Schoolcraft beginning next fall.
Detroit Free Press: The partnership also involves Wayne State University. Both WSU and U-T will offer four-year programs at Schoolcraft, which will make money from renting them the facilities.
U-T will offer its in-state tuition rate for the Livonia classes. In-state tuition this year is $9,054. Out-of-state tuition at U-T is $18,174. That in-state tuition makes U-T cheaper than every Michigan university except Saginaw Valley State University.
Toledo joins other universities, including Michigan and Michigan State, that have begun offering courses in metro Detroit in recent years.
