A notorious 1990 Macomb slaying was examined in a "Dateline" episode Friday -- the NBC program's second look at the 1990 crime.

Correspondent Dennis Murphy spoke with other witnesses, former detectives, attorneys and victim Barbara George’s brother, Joe Kowynia.
Michael George (above) is serving life in prison without parole after his first-degree murder conviction in a 2011 retrial for shooting his 32-year-old wife Barbara in a back room of the couple’s Clinton Township comic book store.
It was revealed George, now 52, was having an affair with store employee Renee Kotula, now Renee George.
