Here's more on the whacky ear-biting story out of Macomb Township on March 8 that conjures up thoughts of Mike Tyson and Hannibal Lecter.

Jameson Cook of the Macomb Daily reports ex-boyfriend Anthony Caruso states in a court document that his girlfriend Danielle Nebelung  became enraged and bit off part of his ear after he mentioned her medications she takes for her bi-polar condition and depression.

Caruso stated that Nebelung “laughed with my ear in her mouth.”

Nebelung faces charges of  aggravated assault in 41A District Court in Shelby Township. A March 31 preliminary examination is scheduled.

The Macomb Daily reported:

Caruso, 36, says he drove Nebelung, his live-in ex-girlfriend, to the Waldenburg Bar the night of March 9. She arrived at the home in the 49000 block of Marseilles near 22 Mile and Romeo Plank roads after the bar closed and “insisted on starting an argument over bills and rent that she owes,” Caruso says in the PPO petition.

He says he stopped arguing “after I saw how drunk she was” and went outside to smoke a cigarette. He entered the home and found Nebelung “destroyed anything she could get her hands on” in the kitchen.

“Food was everywhere with bent spoons and forks on the counter top,” he says. “I … went directly into my room. … She walked by the room and she was talking about me. I spoke at a high volume so the person on the phone could hear me defending myself. I said she is crazy, just look at my kitchen, and I also started to state the many medications she takes.”

That apparently enraged her.
