Update, 9:30 a.m. Thursday: The search in Hines Park ended at 3 p.m. Thursday without any results, The Oakland Press reports. Police have no plans to continue searching the park for evidence in the Danielle Stislicki case.
“I expect there will be future searches at other locations until we are successful,” Farmington Hills Police Chief Chuck Nebus says.
Original article, Wednesday:
Law enforcement authorities, convinced that Danielle Stislicki, 29, is dead, blitzed Hines Park in Livonia in an evidence search. The Farmington Hills woman has been missing since Dec. 2.
Canine units and law enforcers from the FBI, Farmington Hills Police Department and the Livonia Police Department were at the park early Wednesday, reports James Dickson of The Detroit News.

Danielle Stislicki
"Law enforcement authorities have expressed since day one that Danielle Stislicki was a victim of a crime," Farmington Hills Police Chief Chuck Nebus says in a statement. "The facts of the case lead us to believe she is not alive.
"Several air, land, and water searches have been conducted at various places throughout the investigation. Hines Park is being searched as the result of a recent Livonia and Farmington Hills joint investigation."
Authorities recently arrested Floyd Galloway in another case involving a sexual assault of a jogger at the park. He's a person of interest in the Stislicki case.
"This [separate] investigation has led to criminal charges in Livonia against Floyd Galloway, a 30-year-old resident of Berkley," Nebus continued. "Because the Livonia incident occurred in Hines Park, it is a location that requires searching. There is no specific information or evidence that leads us to believe Danielle’s remains are in the park."
