Update, 5:15 p.m. Monday: Police have arrested two men in connection with the weekend shootings, WXYZ reports. Authorities also identified the girl, 3, as Anaiya Denise Montgomery.

More senseless violence in Detroit. Police are investigating a shooting that killed a 3-year-old girl and wounded two adults on Detroit's west side, Josh Landon of Fox 2 reports.

The crime took place around 3 a.m. Sunday in the 16800 block of Riverview Street, near West McNichols and Telegraph roads.

A man inside the home got into an argument, left, returned, kicked in the door and opened fire.

The suspect left in a gray or white Mercury Grand Marquis, police believe, and was followed by a small black car.
