Update, 4:30 p.m. Monday: The rider found dead on the People Mover tracks Sunday night is identified as Michael White, 53, WWJ and the Associated Press report. The incident has been ruled an accident.

A man was run over and killed on the People Mover track Sunday night, WDIV reports. Alcohol may have played a role.
The victim fell between People Movie cars, couldn't get back on the platform and was run over, Priya Mann of WDIV reports. The train dragged him about 50 yards.
The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. at the Times Square stop near the Rosa Parks Transit Depot.
Police told WDIV that it appeared as if the man stumbled around before falling. He was not immediately identified.
At about 9:30 p.m., the People Mover tweeted:
SERVICE ADVISORY - People Mover operations have concluded this evening and system is closed. We apologize for the inconvenience.
