Michigan is expected to be a key state in the presidential race, and the Republicans aren't wasting time going after it.
Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, the freshly minted Republican vice president, is scheduled to speak Thursday night at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi on Thursday at 7 p.m.
Pence, 57, took office as governor in 2013. He is a former Congressman and is regarded as a supporter of the Tea Party movement.
