There is no humor in Flint's water situation.
But this Pure Michigan spoof has a bite to it, and it's done effectively through satire.
It's by John Kerfoot of St. Clair Shores, a video editing instructor at Wayne State University who has targeted other Michigan subjects. His voiceover says:
“Perhaps the city’s best-kept secret is the Flint River. This natural treasure provides the people with the best H2O in the Great Lakes state. And because it’s not treated with any chemicals, Flint has the finest drinking water in the country.”
“All credit goes to state officials — especially Gov. Rick Snyder — for spending the extra cost for a lifetime of enrichment.”
