Veteran Detroit graffiti and street artist known as "Fel3000ft" says graffiti art has had a big impact on Detroit. It says "I believe in the city," he feels.
"It gives the community a second chance at hope," he adds in a video produced by JCline Films.
"If you put art in a community that’s rough you’re going to always see something change," the urban artist explains.
"I started writing graffiti in 1982, It has been a passion of mine for over 30 years," the artist writes on his website. "My work has been seen in XXL magazine and also I was featured in a book by Roger Gastmen : called ( the history of American graffiti ) in 2010 and ( From Here To Fame ) by Allen Ket in 2011. off and on I have worked freelance for company's like Ford, Chevy, and many others.
"Canvas is something I truly enjoy painting and have done so for 16 years. still after 30 years I can be found painting on a Detroit city street at a wall near you."
