Base stealing was not a specialty of the Tigers in recent years. But this year, there's far more excitement on the bases.
On Tuesday night, Tiger Raja Davis, who was pinch running in the eighth inning in Oakland, took advantage of the pitcher and catcher's lax play and stole third base after the catcher tossed the ball back to the pitcher, who wasn't paying a whole lot of attention to the bases.
Davis ended up scoring, which gave the Tigers a 6-5 victory.
