Video: Detroit Police Launch Campaign to Recruit Officers

The Detroit Police Department has launched a recruiting push for officers, using TV commercials, billboards and social media.

Salaries begin around $40,000. Prospects must have a high school diploma or GED, be 18 and have no felony conviction.  The goal is to hire around 40 a month.
