Sometimes fans tire of being spectators.
That may have been the case with two attention-seekers who ran on the field at Comerica Park on Saturday before getting caught during a game against the Red Sox. .

Of the first one, Emma Baccellieri of Deadspin writes:
An idiot in Detroit today managed to evade security long enough to get almost all the way across the field, breaking from a casual skip into a full sprint, before looping back and ultimately getting tackled.
MVP here is perhaps Red Sox shortstop Marco Hernandez, who didn’t flinch as the idiot came near and remained perfectly unimpressed with his hands on his hips.
In an update at 3:30 p.m., she posts that "another idiot" ran onto the field.
Detroit Free Press photographer Eric Seals snapped the action and posts on his three social media feeds: "It isn't an official start of the 2017 Detroit Tigers baseball season until a fan runs onto the field at Comerica Park."
