Video: J.L. Hudson Thanksgiving Parade in 1962

This year marks the 90th anniversary of the Detroit Thanksgiving parade.

Back in the day, it was called the J.L. Hudson Thanksgiving Parade.  

Now, it's called America's Thanksgiving Parade and its sponsored by Art Van.

We came across this video of the 1962 parade and thought we'd share.

This year's parade begins at 8:50 a.m. at Woodward and Kirby and will be broadcast on WDIV beginning at 9 a.m.
