The story is so outrageous it circulated around the country and was posted widely on websites, including the one for NBC's loacal station in New York.
Jason Colthorp of WDIV reports that two men stole a cellphone Sunday morning from a 23-year-old Pontiac man with cerebral palsy, beat him in the stairwell of his apartment building, recorded the attack on his cellphone and posted it to his Facebook page.
Nikey Dashone Walker and Shadeed Dontae Bey were arrested following the incident, the station says.
"Preying on those in our community who suffer from disabilities will not be tolerated and furthermore, to have the audacity to post their actions on the victim's page is beyond belief," Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard says. Police have released video of the attack.
