John Kerfoot, producer of 32 earlier Pure Michigan ad spoofs since June 2010, now ridicules Detroit's 3.3-mile streetcar system that launched April 12.
These are among cracks in the 76-second satire:
- "The Motor City has declared its comeback official with the QLINE. Detroit’s long-awaited $200 million project has mass transit world leaders in total awe."
- "The trains' downtown commute now rivals the walking pace of a 62-year-old woman."
- "The QLine. The People Mover, Part 2."
Kerfoot, a St. Clair Shorees resident who teaches media arts and video editing at Wayne State University, earns more than 92,000 viewings of his Not So Pure Michigan series.
