Video: Sen. John Kennedy Spoke at U-M Nearly 55 Years Ago

It was nearly 55 years ago that Sen. John Kennedy came to the University of Michigan to speak at the Student Union.

The date was Oct. 14, 1960, and the presidential election against Richard Nixon was three weeks off. 

Kennedy talked about public service, about students willingness to work in places like Ghana or in the Foreign Service to serve the United States.
