To see where Detroit is going, sometimes it's interesting to see where it has been.
We came across this 25-minute documentary by the Ford Motor Co. titled "Portrait of a City."
The film includes the era of the settlers and the days of the bustling city in 1961. The film was broadcast on Detroit television.
"Detroit has plenty of visitors because there's lots to see," the narrator says. He later praises Tiger Stadium as "pretty close to the best stadium in the country."
