During a four-hour funeral service Monday at Greater Grace Temple in northwest Detroit, attendees were treated to a touching video of Angelo Henderson.
The 7:19 minute video is a recap of Henderson's life and his passion for people and the city. Henderson was a minister, radio show host on WCHB-1400 AM and a Pulitzer prize winner. He worked at the Detroit News and won his Pulitzer at the Wall Street Journal.
The video was made by Montez Miller, a professional video producer, a member of Henderson's Triumph Church and a friend. She's also a corporate producer for Real Times Media, the parent company for the Michigan Chronicle.
Miller wrote in an email to Deadline Detroit: "3 full days...cried and edited... edited and cried..."
We thought we'd share this video with out readers. -- Allan Lengel
