Sure, it may be your crazy fantasy to drive an ambulance at a high speed. But it's best left as just a fantasy.

A 21-year-old man from Macomb Township faces charges Tuesday after stealing a MedStar ambulance from Henry Ford Hospital in Mount Clemens and leading police on a chase, the Macomb Daily reports. His name isn't released before arraignment today. (See the chase below.)

It all began on Saturday around 6:35 p.m. when MedStar paramedics entered Henry Ford Hospital to drop off a patient. The suspect, who was not a patient, left the hospital and drove off with the ambulance, the Macomb County Sheriff's Department says.

With help from Clinton Township Police, deputies arrested the man after a short chase.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday 41-B District Court in Clinton Township, charged with unlawfully driving away an automobile.
