Carmen Harlan, a fixture at WDIV for 38 years, signed off Friday for the last time as an anchor on the nightly news.
In a sentimental send off, the station aired a video dedicated to Harlan, and her co-workers kidded her and said kind things.
Harlan will be part of the station's Thanksgiving Parade broadcast Nov. 24.
