When we think of baseball, we think of warm days and cold beer.

But opening days in Detroit are more about cold weather and warm hot chocolate, winter coats and shivering. Last year, temperatures hovered around the upper 40s at game time.

This year, it looks like things won't be much different.

AccuWeather.com reports that the high on opening day on March 31 against the Kansas City Royal will be 46 degrees.

Then again, at this juncture, 46 sounds like a heat wave.
