Families of the two Westland teens whose bodies were found Friday in a field near City Airport prepared for their funerals after the Wayne County Medical Examiner made positive identifications.

Also on Saturday,  at a court hearing in downtown Detroit, two men who could be tied to the youths' deaths were ordered held on charges that they stole items from the car the teens had been driving.

Casey Jason Green, 39, and Larry Anderson, 40, were ordered held on $250,000 bond in the theft of the 2001 Chevy Cavalier in which the boys were driving.

The car was found abandoned in the 8500 block of Beechwood, near Joy Road and I-96 -- far from where the boys' bodies were found -- with its sound system missing, authorities said.

Magistrate Renee McDuffee in Detroit's 36th District Court refused a defense attorney's request to let the defendants post 10% bonds, which would have freed them for $25,000 apiece.
