Greektown, one of Detroit's gems, is tarnished by serious violence.
Detroit Police are investigating a shooting in Greektown that left one man dead and another injured Sunday night, Katrease Stafford writes in the Freep.
That shooting comes one day after a 19-year-old woman was shot in the ankle and in the stomach Saturday night in Greektown near Monroe and Beaubien streets, the Free Press reports.
In Sunday's shootings, a 19-year-old man was found dead around 11:43 p.m. in the 400 block of Monroe. Another man, 21, was shot and is expected to recover.
