There are those of us who could eat pizza several times a week and never get tired of it.

Of course, we have our favorites. Sometimes cheap pizza does in a pinch. And sometimes we've just got to have a slice from our favorite joint. My favorites include Supino Pizzeria on Russell in Eastern Market, Buddy's pizza at McNichols and Conant in Detroit and Amici's  (pizza pictured above) on 12 Mile Road in Berkley.

Two of those three -- Supino and Amici's -- don't make the top 100 list in the nation based on gross sales. Not surprising, considering both only have one shop. But Buddy's does make the list.

Here's how the Michigan-based chains rank in the Top 100 List as compiled by Pizza Today. Just in case you wondered, Pizza Hut, based in Plano, Tex., ranks #1 in the nation.
