Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is killing it when it comes to fundraising.
So far, she's raised about $9.5 million this year while still holding $15 million in the bank, creating a daunting situation for her opponent in the fall, Bridge Michigan reports.
That means she's raised more than the five GOP candidates combined.
Of those, Tudor Dixon of Muskegon has raised the most, with $1.2 million. It's helped that she's now got the backing of U.S. Education Secretary Betsy DeVos and her family members.
