Windsor Star columnists Chris Vander Doelen and Anne Jarvis pulled a Jimmy Kimmel "Mean Tweets" Thursday by reading comments about themselves aloud.
They're not quite Bill Murray or Jennifer Garner, but Doelen and Jarvis try for the self-deprecating but lighthearted comedy trademarked by Jimmy Kimmel's "Celebrity's Read Mean Tweets About Themselves" segment.
"You know Chris, with each of your articles, we can actually see you get dumber," one comment says.
Doelen giggles and says, "I like that one."
The tongue-in-cheek video accompanies a comparatively tame explanation:
Windsor Star columnists... receive plenty of feedback about their work from our valued readers. Much of the feedback is complimentary and thought-provoking but some of it is profane, salty and downright vicious.
