Here's the latest:
A woman at the MotorCity Casino in Detroit accidentally shot herself early Tuesday morning when her gun inside her purse discharged, Fox2 reports. She was taken to the hospital where she was listed in stable condition, the Detroit News reported.
FOX 2 reported that the woman had a concealed pistol license, but it is against the law to carry a gun into any Michigan casino.
Patrons at Detroit casinos do not pass through metal detectors.
