Sadie Bell, 58, of Southfield has standards.
So when she felt her married lover wasn't performing sexually up to her expectations, she shot and wounded him, according to a story by Tom Greenwood of the Detroit News. Oh yes, she also suspected he was cheating.
In a statement to police, she said she was upset about the performance of Edward Lee, her boyfriend of 15 years, because of his poor performance. She also accused him of cheating after noting that he hadn't produced much ejaculate during sex, Greenwood reported. Apparently, she felt he had expended his ejaculate elsewhere.
As Greenwood put in his story:
He was low on ammo. She wasn’t.
She was convicted in April in the shooting and sentenced later to 10-years in prison.
On Thursday, she was released on Thursday after posting a $10,000 cash/surety bond pending an appeal of her sentence.
Now that his girlfriend -- or very likely his ex-girlfriend -- is free he might consider abstinence.
