A fight in the back-to-school section over school supplies at a Walmart at Grand River Avenue and Novi Road in Novi on Monday afternoon turned very scary when a woman produced a loaded gun, Fox 2 reports.

"It was in the back to school section over a notebook," Detective Scott Baetens tells Erika Erickson that two Farmington Hills women, ages 32 and 46, were inside the Towne Center Walmart, shopping for school supplies. So was a 20-year-old South Lyon woman and her mother, 51.

At one point, one of the woman started pulling the 20-year-old's hair and the mother, who has a permit, pulled out her gun. No one was hurt.

No arrests were made.
