Grief counseling is being offered to Wayne State University football players and friends of Serxho Guraleci, a varsity football player who died Monday while lifting weights with fellow players.
The 22-year-old senior, whose first name was pronounced SERR-show, collapsed suddenly Monday at a workout facility in Macomb County, says a university statement quoted by WXYZ and other media:

The player was from Albania, grew up in Sterling Heights and attended Utica Stevenson High School, reports WXYZ. A video profile is below.
Guraleci, who was completing degree requirements in kinesiology and secondary education, was set to graduate this spring.
