Many folks who watch The Simpsons have a favorite episode or snippet from a show.

Here's a cute exchange:

Teacher: So, you never learned cursive?
Bart: Well I know hell and damn and bi—
Teacher: Cursive handwriting. Script. Do you know multiplication tables? Long division?
Bart: I know of them.

Well, apparently there's some Detroiters who are devotees of the show and pride themselves on knowing many facts about it.

Who knew?

We came across this at Reddit Detroit:

My boyfriend and I are huge Simpsons fans (it's kind of how we met, but that's a story for another time) and we went to the Simpsons trivia last month at park bar. Turned out way harder than we thought. The only other person I know with insane Simpsons knowledge is busy next Monday night. Would anyone be interested in making a Reddit team?

Meowcat187 responds: What time? My life pretty much revolves around Simpsons references. (Not the new stuff though).

Every third Monday, the Park Bar at 2040 Park Avenue, behind the Fox Theatre, in downtown Detroit, has "Classic Simpsons Trivia Detroit," starting at 7:30 p.m.
