For those wondering whether there will be any debates between mayoral candidates Benny Napoleon and Mike Duggan, the answer appears to be Yes.
Bryan Peckinpaugh, a spokesman for the Napoleon camp, responded in an email from Deadline Detroit Thursday evening saying:
Yes there will be a debate. Possibly more than one. Both our camp and MD's camp are working on a plan. We are discussing options right now. Any debate will be held in mid to late October.
John Roach, a spokesman for Duggan, said in an email:
"Yes. Our people have been talking to their people. We should have something to announce jointly as early as this coming week."
