We know so much about former Lions executive Matt Millen. He's a terrible judge of football talent for instance. And he doesn't really like gays. Or Polish-Americans. Or taking responsibility for his bad decisions. Or expecting his friends to take responsibility for their bad decisions.

However, those aren't reasons to deny Millen the honor of being the Walter Camp Football Foundation's 2013 "Man Of The Year."

Detroit Free Press: The award honors a person who has been “closely associated with the game of football as a player, coach or close attendant to the game. He must have attained a measure of success and been a leader in his chosen profession. He must have contributed to the public service for the benefit of his community, country and his fellow man. He must have an impeccable reputation for integrity and must be dedicated to our American Heritage and the philosophy of Walter Camp.”

One assumes the runners-up must have been Miami Dolphins lineman Richie Incognito and Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper.
