He is the author or co-author of four books, including the best-selling “I Ain’t Scared of You: Bernie Mac on How Life Is” and “Ten Ways Not to Commit Suicide,” with rap legend Darryl “DMC” McDaniels. Darrell has been a reporter for several major metropolitan newspapers, including the Los Angeles Times, the Detroit News, the New York Daily News and the Philadelphia Inquirer.
