So Much Local Music

The fourth annual Detroit by Detroit takes place this Saturday at the Magic Stick. A dozen or so local musicians or bands will take the stage to perform covers of songs originally by other Detroit artists. Mike Galbraith will sing some Aretha Franklin, for example.  After Dark Amusement Park will be The Supremes and The HandGrenades will cover Phantasmagoria. It's a fun and massively impressive celebration of Detroit music.
