Nth Degree Fitness in Royal Oak Closes Abruptly After 10 Years

Unfortunately in the past few years, for one reason or another, several businesses along Main Street in Royal Oak have folded, only to see new ones pop up in their place.

The latest closure: Longtime Royal Oak fitness studio Nth Degree Fitness at 1001 N. Main Street, just north of the city's downtown, closed Saturday without warning, Adrienne Roberts of Crain's Detroit Business reports. 

"After almost 10 years of operating Nth Degree Fitness, we have decided, regrettably, to close the business down ...," the owners said in a letter posted on the studio's door, Crain's reports, adding that employees and clients of were stunned by the news.
