Anibal Sanchez's First Outing in Toledo Kind of Sucks

Tigers pitcher Anibal Sanchez agreed to go down to the Toledo Mud Hens to work on his pitching. He was demoted to a reliever in the pros and gave up home run after home run.

On Tuesday, the 33-year-old made his debut in Toledo against Roanoke. 

The first inning looked good, reports Lynn Henning of the Detroit News. He struck out three Norfolk batters on 13 pitches.

The next inning was not very good.

He gave up two home runs, a double off the right-center field fence and a walk. He was pitching around 90-91 mph.
