Amid federal and state investigations into the practices of the Detroit Land Bank Authority, there have been quite a few resignations.
The latest: Rebecca Camargo, a former Wayne County prosecutor, is stepping down as director “for other opportunities,” Craig Fahle, a spokesman for the Detroit Land Bank Authority, tells The Detroit News. She departs next Friday, Sept. 1.
These were past resignations:
- Executive Director Carrie Lewand-Monroe resigned in March.
- Land Bank demolition Driector Pura Bascos left in January.
- Detroit Building Authority Deputy Director Jim Wright quit last summer.
