But Michigan, you're paying for those moments of joy, of caloric bliss.

The Centers for Disease Control Michigan reported Monday that Michigan is one of 12 states where at least 30 percent of adults are obese.

Good to know we weren't first.

That honor went to the good old state of Mississippi, which reported that nearly 36 percent, or more than one third, of the adults were obese.
Why care?

The CDC reports that obesity increases the risk of a number of health conditions including hypertension, adverse lipid concentrations and type 2 diabetes.

Are those fries really worth it?
