The movie industry continues to rear its head in Metro Detroit.
The latest: A casting call for Disney's upcoming movie “Star Wars: Episode VII” will be held Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. at Somerset Inn in Troy, Megan Semeraz of the Oakland Press reports.
The paper reports that the film has an opening for two major rolls, one for a male and another for a female. Casting calls have already been held in other U.S. cities and the United Kingdom.
The film is set to open in December 2015. Filming is expected to begin in 2014 at Pinewood Studios in the United Kingdom, the Oakland Press reported.
