News from the Compuware building downtown hasn't been upbeat lately.
The company recently reported disappointing earnings. There's been layoffs and talk of the company being sold. And a couple parties to commemorate the outgoing founder Pete Karmanos were canceled in what turned into a public relations mess.
But here's some good news.
Plante Moran PLLC will open its seventh Southeast Michigan office this fall, and it will be inside the Compuware building.
A news release says the Southfield-based accounting and business advisory firm will occupy 15,000 square feet on the building's third floor for 75 employees.
The employees will be a combination of relocated and new.
Compuware Ventures, an arm of Compuware, provided initial funding for Deadline Detroit.
