Customer Pulls Gun and Kills Would-Be Robber At Detroit Coney

A customer at a southwest side Coney Island side fatally shot one of two men attempting to rob the place Wednesday night after one of the suspects shot the owner, police told The Detroit News.

The would-be muggers shot the owner and grazed another man at Adi's Coney Island at 10:10 p.m. on the 6100 block of Michigan Avenue. 

A 51-year-old customer, who had a concealed pistol license, pulled out a gun and returned fire, killing one of the assailants, who was 29 years old.

The other alleged robber fled.

The owner and other victim were listed in stable condition.
