Dead Man Found Electrocuted on Utility Pole in Detroit

Some rather strange, and in this latest case, tragic things have happened on Wednesday involving utility poles in Metro Detroit.

First, Wednesday morning a raccoon got his face stuck in a jar and was sitting atop a  telephone pole for hours. He eventually came down and the jar was removed.

Then a man was found hanging Wednesday morning from a utility pole in Detroit in the 5100 block of Lawton, near I-94 and I-96, the Free Press reported. He appeared to have been electrocuted.

Some reports indicated the man may have been trying to steal copper.
