For a man of 69, Donald Trump is still pretty flexible -- so much so, he's still able to regularly put his foot in his mouth.
Regardless of his offensive comments, the Genesee and Saginaw county Republican parties are proceeding with plans to have Trump speak Aug. 11 at the Birch Run Expo Center for a $25-a-ticket fundraiser for the two county parties, Chad Livengood reports in The Detroit News.
If anything, he'll be entertaining.
He's drawn criticism for harsh comments about Hispanics and Sen. John McCain, who spent more than five years as a North Vietnamese prisoner of war.
“He’s not a war hero,” Trump said Saturday at an Iowa Republican forum. “He is a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.”
