It's not hard finding illegally dumped materials in the city of Detroit.

WDIV's Rod Meloni reports that Mayor Mike Duggan's administration is cracking down on the problem, and has about half a dozen crews with front-end loaders and dump trucks out there everyday picking up garbage. The city said it is picking up about 150 tons of garbage a week.

Duggan this week said other communities don't tolerate that kind of dumping, and Detroit will no longer tolerating it, too.  He said people had become used to the illegal dumping.
