A volunteer girls basketball coach at Henry Ford High School in Detroit is charged with having inappropriate sexual contact with a 15-year-old female student, the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office says.
Kevin Orr-Mathews, 25, began texting the teen while he was a coach, authorities allege. She did not play for the team.
On Monday around 3 a.m., authorities allege that he drove to her her home in the 18000 block of Greenlawn and had inappropriate sexual contact with her in his car.
He is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct and third-degree criminal sexual conduct. He was arraigned Wednesday afternoon.
