The Detroit Detroit of Transportation is holding a recruiting event on Thursday from 9 a.m. through 2 p.m. as part of its push to hire 100 bus drivers.
The event will be held at Wayne County Community College District's Eastern Campus at 5901 Conner in Detroit.
The city is encouraging people to start the online application process prior to the event by visiting www.detroitmi.gov/Detroit-Opportunities/Find-A-Job and applying for the Transportation Equipment Operator position.
