The Detroit News isn't buying into many of the upcoming proposals on the ballot in November.
In fact, the editorial page today is urging voters to approve only one of six.
The editorial gives a thumbs up to the Emergency Manager proposal and a thumbs down to the rest.
On the EM proposal, it writers:
Voters should keep Public Act 4 on the books. When municipalities dig themselves into financial holes they can't get out of, PA 4 allows a governor-appointed emergency manager to come in and take the necessary steps, including renegotiating unsustainable contracts, to right the financial ship. Vote yes.
